Obituary For Donald Raymond Wells
Donald R. Wells, 80, of Cold Spring, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was a proud Navy veteran and worked as an Electrician for Kroger, Hudepohl Brewery and for 25 years at General Electric Aeronautics. Don was also a 35 years member of the International Association of Machinist & Aerospace Workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Jeanette (nee Bricking) Wells and brother, Edward Wells.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marcia (nee Bertsch) Wells; daughter, Denise (Wayne) Byrum; sons, Douglas (Beth) & Andrew Wells; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan & Jessica Byrum and Samantha & Dominic Wells and brothers, Michael (Carol) & Albert (Marie) Wells.
Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m., Friday, May 22nd at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 22nd at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring with Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
