Donna K. Elam, 72, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Donna was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Denver and Dorothy Vanover. She dedicated more than 25 years of her career to the Internal Revenue Service.

Donna was a woman who took pride in doing things the right way. She was organized, structured, and particular, and those qualities were a meaningful part of who she was. She enjoyed listening to old country music and watching the Home Shopping Network. She had a special love for her cats (Kiki and Shadow) and dog (Pepper), who brought her much happiness and companionship throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Dorothy “Dot” Vanover; and brother, Darryl Vanover.

Donna is survived by her sons, Timothy (Robin) Elam and Michael (Laura) Elam; grandchildren: Christopher Elam, Brooke (Chad) Evans, Lucas Elam, Zachary Elam, Julianna Elam and Morgan Pollitt; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Callahan; brother, David (Debbie) Vanover; and cousin, Ronnie (Connie) Vanover.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of memorial service, 12:00 PM, at Linnemann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018. Inurnment will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Miami Township.
