Obituary For Douglas Edward Singleton

Douglas "Doug" Edward Singleton, 71, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of St. Patrick Church in Taylor Mill, KY. Doug graduated from Ludlow High School and went on to earn his undergraduate degree in education from the University of Kentucky and his master's degree from Northern Kentucky University. Doug spent most of his life as a middle school educator. He was an active volunteer with numerous organizations within his community. Doug was an avid fan and supporter of NKU and U.K. basketball. He was a family man and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Marilou France Singleton; children: Scott (Elizabeth) Singleton and Alison (Matt) Meier; brothers: Glenn (Claudia) Singleton and Bob Singleton and grandchildren: Zeke, Elliot, Penny Lou, Alexis, and Calvin. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Inurnment with an Honor Guard Service will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to Northern Kentucky University Scholarships, 5320 Campus Drive, AC 239, Highland Heights, KY 41099. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
