Edna Catherine (Beatty) Booth, 91, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to her late parents, Joseph Beatty and Josephine (Piles) Beatty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Deborah Booth Fuller, and her cherished granddaughter, Bridget Ann Fuller.

Edna is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, Herbert Booth, M.D., and their loving children: Donna Nalley (Harold), Karen Trautmann (John), Lynn Profitt (Dave), and Rev. Dr. William Booth (Lisa). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in her life.

Edna leaves a lasting legacy of love, faith, and service. A woman of deep faith, she faithfully volunteered in the nursery and library at Burlington Baptist Church, touching countless lives with her kindness and gentle spirit. She was a devoted mother who lovingly raised five children, always placing her family at the center of her life. Known for her warm hospitality, Edna took great joy in cooking for others, especially during the holidays when her home was filled with love and togetherness.

She and her husband shared a passion for travel and service, and she was honored to accompany him on numerous medical mission trips around the world. Edna also had a creative soul and found great joy in painting and drawing, leaving behind not only beautiful works of art but also treasured memories for those who knew her.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Burlington Baptist Church, 3031 Washington Street, Burlington, Kentucky 41005, for a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Her son, Rev. Dr. William Booth, will officiate.
