Obituary For Elizabeth Bailer
Elizabeth “Jane” Bailer (nee Wissmann), 86, of Florence, KY, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
Jane was a devout member of St. Paul Catholic Church. A dedicated homemaker, she adored spending time with her family. Jane’s warm heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a passion for sewing, reading books, and enjoyed gathering with her friends for card games.
Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James A. Bailer, and her sister-in-law, Thelma “Pidgy” Utz (Jay).
She is survived by her loving children: Jill Winebrenner (the late Jon Winebrenner), Jerry Bailer (Amy), Julie Grome (Ken), Janet Seiter, and Joie Bailer. Jane’s legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Chris, Robin, Ryan, Maegan, K.C., Kirk, Stephanie, Brad, Becca, T.J., Joshua, Jamie, and Alli, as well as her adored great-grandchildren: Grayson, Elliot, Brooklyn, and Jasper.
Jane is also survived by her dear sister, Mary Ann Eifert (the late James Eifert), and her sister-in-law, Suzie (Bill) Gross.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 30 Commonwealth Ave., Erlanger, KY 41018. A reception will immediately follow at Knights of Columbus-Acree Hall in Burlington, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042. Burial to immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
