Obituaries

Ellen Jeanene “Nene” (nee Cramer) Freese, 72, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 8, 2025. She was a resident of Grants Lick, KY and a former bartender at Grants Lick Café. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ellen (Wagner) and Leroy Cramer.
She is survived by her husband Larry Freese; her son William “Chris” Rison of Brooksville, KY; her daughter Deanna Rison of Ryland Heights, KY; siblings Dennis (Paula) Cramer of Grand Prairie, TX; Jayniece Cramer of Moncks Corner, SC; Jan (Jim) Listermann of Mentor, KY; David Cramer of Southgate, KY; Paul ( Maryann) Cramer of Walton, KY; Lea (Johnny) Woolsey of Justin, TX; Lesa (John) McMillan of Bell, FL, and her “sister by another mother” Teresa Collins of Butler, KY. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5pm-7pm, with services beginning at 7pm.
