Erlinda Mendoza Par Felix was a loving wife, mother, Lola (grandmother and great grandmother), sister, and friend. She left this world on October 7, 2023, at age 88.

She was born in Manila, Philippines, to Remedios Mendoza and Hermogenes Par on April 19, 1935. She married Perry DeGuzman Felix on October 20, 1963, so this month is their 60th wedding anniversary. Perry immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1970 and she followed with the children in 1971. She lived mostly in Maryland and settled in Kentucky in 2016.

She is survived by her husband, Perry; children, Marie Celynn (Rob) and Erwin (Jill); 12 grandchildren–Christopher, Karla (Quincey), Amanda (Jeremy), Ryan (Sheila), Carolynne (Josh), Laura (Alex), Hannah, Kristina (Jared), Joseph, Daniel, Mary, and Jennifer; 11 great grandchildren-Dominic, Grace, Christopher, Natalie, Charlotte, Xavier, James, Sage, Alexandra, Remy, and Olivia.

Erlinda’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She left quite a legacy of love and Faith with 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, the newest born October 8, 2023. She remembered the names and birthdays of all family, friends, and even their extended families! She was a prolific letter writer and so generous to all. She left a legacy of great Faith in Our Lord and Savior. She was a devout Catholic, praying the rosary and for her family faithfully.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for 9:30 am on October 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Park Hills, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, please have Masses offered in her name at your local parish. Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com.
