Obituary For Erwin Nicholas Lauer
Erwin Lauer (Erv), 89, cherished husband of Judy (Studer) Lauer, passed away February 29, 2024.
Erwin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Married to the love of his life for 65 years, he was a master carpenter with a passion for gardening, biking, the outdoors, and quality time with his family. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church, an active member of the St. Charles Community, and a lifetime member of the Catholic Foresters. He lived his life with a strong devotion to Our Blessed Mother and treasured his faith every day.
His loving family includes his Mother and Father Emma and Clem Lauer (Deceased); Children - Nancy (Don) Leisl, Jackie (David) Boucher, Mary (Clay) Mitchell; Grandchildren - DJ (Jessica) Leisl, Steven (Emily) Leisl, Ashley Leisl (Corey) Schmitt, Nicholas Boucher, Natalie Boucher, Madeline Mitchell, Claire Mitchell; 6 Great Grandchildren; and Siblings - Viola (Geiger) Lauer (Deceased), Herman Lauer (Deceased), Delores (Hundemer) Lauer (Deceased), Carl Lauer (Deceased), Mary Joan Lauer (Steffen) (Deceased), Jean Lauer (Rawe) (Deceased), Jane Lauer (Overberge) (Deceased), Helen Lauer Kremer.
