Obituary For Frances Emmaline Ducker
Frances Emmaline Ducker, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2026, at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills, KY. She was born on May 2, 1930, in Pendleton County, Kentucky to the late Thomas Edmond King and Mary Elizabeth (Martin) King.
Frances worked in the home and raised her four children and even successfully operated a daycare out of her home for other kids. She was a woman of immense talent, she filled her world with creativity as a gifted pianist, skilled seamstress, and an avid painter who found joy and inspiration in the artistry of Bob Ross and Bill Alexander. She also enjoyed working puzzles and word searches in her spare time. She was a multi-talented soul who loved her family more than anything, the children she took care of that became her family and had a devout faith and love in her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Frances was a long-time member at Greenview Baptist Church where worshiped and served. All those who knew and loved her will miss her beyond measure.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary King; her loving husband, Guy Ducker, and her daughter, Emily Frances Ducker.
Those left here to carry on her loving legacy are her children, Stephen (Kathy) Ducker, Bruce (Connie) Ducker, Ricky (Eliza Jane) Ducker, Timothy (Maria) Ducker; her grandchildren, Bradley, Douglas, Hedi, Nicholas, Matthew, Oscar, Katy, Amanda, Jared; numerous great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and several close friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday July 31, 2026, at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth, KY.
