Obituary For Gerald Lee Johnson
Gerald "Jerry" Lee Johnson, 86, of Highland Heights, KY, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was born in Dayton, KY, to Mark and Mary Irene Johnson.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, working in air traffic control. Jerry was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, KY. He retired as a truck driver after 40+ years of service, primarily with UPS. Jerry loved to golf and was an avid bowler. He was a loving father to his 8 children.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Mark and Mary Irene Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years: Polly Johnson; children: Kellye (Brant) Owens, Kerrye (Jim) Hurst, David "Dude" (Tressa) Johnson, Tony (Janet) Pemberton, Dave (Angie) Pemberton, Chris (Beverly) Pemberton, Kim (Rock) Meyer and Joe (Karla) Johnson; brother: Mike (Wilma) Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Interment with an Honor Guard Service will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.
