Obituary For Glentis Byrne
BYRNE, Glentis, 95, of Union, KY, passed away on September 8, 2024.
Born in Belfry, KY, Glentis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Byrne, her parents, Troy and Elsie Deskins and her 6 siblings.
Glentis is survived by her son, Steve Byrne (Kimberly), and her daughter, Sarah Crolley. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren Jordan Dunbar (Bryan), Logan Byrne (Allie), Devin Crolley (Jennifer) and Corey Crolley and great grandchildren Reese, Elliot, Tate, Drew, Beck, Andie, Dylan, Edison and Hudson.
A proud graduate of Deacon Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio (1951), Glentis dedicated 41 years of her life as an industrial nurse at the Ford Motor Company. She was a cherished member of The Beaverlick Baptist Church, where her kindness and spirit touched many lives.
Her family and friends will remember her for her unwavering dedication, gentle nature, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
