Obituaries

Guang He, age 56, of Florence, Kentucky, passed unexpectedly and entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was born in Fuzhou, China, to his late parents, Xiang Rong He and Yi Jin Lin.

Guang is survived by his loving wife, Qiu Yue Chen; his daughter, Feng Huan He; his son-in-law, Yu Li; his son, Caleb He; and his cherished granddaughters, Bella and Alie Li. He is also mourned by his brothers, Ren Yue He, Ren Xing He, and his sister Xiu Yu He.

A devoted member of the Cincinnati Chinese Church, Guang found great joy in singing in the choir—especially during Thanksgiving celebrations. He was a man of deep faith whose life reflected kindness, humility, and dedication. Guang loved gardening in his backyard, growing vegetables and caring for his chickens and ducks. He was very proud of the vegetables and fruits he grew and would share them with friends.

He was also active in the Northern Kentucky restaurant fellowship and proudly owned and ran the Golden Wok Chinese Restaurant in Burlington. Guang enjoyed playing Chinese chess and treasured every moment spent with his beloved granddaughters, who brought him endless joy. Friends and family will always remember his genuine smile that would light up every room he was in.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042. Burial will immediately follow at Union Rice Cemetery.
