Obituary For Harold Lee Dringenburg
Harold Lee Dringenburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the age of 92. Harold was born in Burlington, Kentucky, to his late parents, Willie and Alma Dringenburg. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Dringenburg; his sister-in-law, Ruth Dringenburg; his brother-in-law, Richard Aylor; and his nephews, Scott and Andy Aylor. Left to mourn Harold’s passing is his loving wife of 64 years, Rosetta Dringenburg (neé: Aylor); his cherished daughters, Pam Sayers (Todd) and Patty Schwabe (Mike); his beloved grandchildren, Lauren Sayers, Ryan Schwabe and Amber Schwabe; his sister-in-law, Carol Aylor, his nieces and nephews, Joan Holladay (Dale), Steve Dringenburg (Kim), Kelly Aylor; and his niece-in-law, Jenny Aylor. His great-nieces and great nephews will also miss him: Jason and Jennifer Holladay, Corry (Grace) and Drue Dringenburg, Christy Aylor, Kelsey (Jonathan) Hughes, and Emily and Nick Aylor. Harold will be remembered as a man who loved the University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds and one who never knew a stranger. He grew up a farmer, retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years, and worked at Kmart after retirement. He was an active member of Hopeful Lutheran Church and above all, he loved to spend time with his family. A visitation will occur on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Another visitation will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Hopeful Lutheran Church, 6430 Hopeful Church Road, Florence, Kentucky 41042, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harold’s name are suggested to Hopeful Lutheran Church at the above address.
