Obituary For Harry Lee Ryan
Harry Lee Ryan, 60, of Walton, passed away on May 21, 2026. Born to the late William Thomas Ryan Sr. and Flora (Howard) Ryan, Harry was known by all who loved him as a hardworking man with a generous spirit, a sharp mind, and a heart bigger than life itself.
Harry worked for Mills Fence as a delivery driver and was a proud member of the Good Guys Club of Walton. He was the kind of man who would work all day to help someone and never ask for a thing in return. Though he carried no formal certifications, there was very little Harry could not do. Whether it was concrete work, electrical projects, repairs, or building something from scratch, he approached every task like an engineer in his own right.
Harry had a passion for NASCAR and loved spending time at the dirt track. He especially enjoyed attending Gravelrama and Bubba Fest, where he shared good times with friends and family. Known for his hats and do-rags, Harry carried a style and personality all his own. He was a father figure to many of his nieces and nephews, always ready with advice, help, or a laugh. According to his mother, Harry could do no wrong — he was truly her golden child.
He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Debbie Dressman; brothers, Tom (Mary) Ryan and Ben (Linda) Ryan; sisters, Lou Ellen Alexander and Margaret Green; special niece, Jennifer; special nephew, Jeffery; and great-nephew, Theo, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 North Main St in Walton, KY. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona, KY
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice in Harry’s memory.
