It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Heather Opal Harrison at the age of 29. Heather passed away on March 6th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Heather is survived by her mother, Jacibe Gonzalas; her stepmother, Shannon Addington; her sisters, Jacibe Melissa Harrison, Rebecca Whitehead, Ashley Harrison, and Laura Gonzalez; her brother, Fernado Gonzalez; her nieces Alice, Jade, and others; and her nephews Bryce, Jay Jr., and others. She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Harrison, and her uncle, Robert Whitehead, as well as many others.

Heather was a bright light in every room she entered, filling the room with her smile and laughter. Her sweet, loving, and outgoing nature touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. As a child, she was active in cheerleading and basketball, and she proudly graduated with honors from Scott High School. Heather's love for spending time with her family and friends was a reflection of her caring and free-spirited nature. She always had room in her heart for others and made those around her feel truly special.

I had the privilege of knowing Heather for the past 4 years. I know there is nothing I can say to take the pain away. My heart is broken as well. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent with her. She was my world, she was my whole world.

I can't remember the last time You looked as happy as you did tonight Your tipsy friend grabbed that bartender Gave him her phone and pulled us over there with her He counted to three And, baby, I haven't seen that side of you in forever And I hate it's the truth but, baby, you never do when we're alone together It was good to see you smile Girl, you know it's been a while It was good to see you smile Even if it was just for the picture They say a picture's worth a thousand words But you ain't said one since you woke up Silly me, thinkin' we could make it work Can you blame me for getting my hopes up? You know it took me right back to how it used to be Baby, seeing us like that is still a little bittersweet If someone were to see this, they'd think everything's alright At least we got a pretty little moment frozen in time It was good to see you smile Girl, you know it's been a while It was good to see you smile Even if it was just for the picture Even if it was just for the picture
