Helen T. Callahan (née Timperman), age 89, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully, July 28th, 2026 at The Seasons @ Alexandria in Alexandria KY. Born on July 5, 1937, in New Albany, Indiana, Helen was the beloved daughter of the late Avelina Lucille Timperman (née Bir).

Helen devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. She was a faithful member of Mary Queen of Heaven Parish in Erlanger, Kentucky, where her Catholic faith remained an important part of her life.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Patrick (Julie) Callahan and Tim (Cindy) Callahan; her sister, Rita Claire Schreiweis; her brothers, Edward F. Timperman and Lawrence J. Timperman; her cherished grandchildren, Johnathan (Chelsea), Andrew (Heather), Malia, Kaleigh, Matthew, Evan (Jordyn), Emma, Nathan, Nicholas (Angela), and Erin (Justin); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Nora and Theodore.

Along with her mother, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Francis (Pat) Callahan in 2013, and siblings Dorthy Stemle and William Timperman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky, with the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
