Obituary For Helenrose "Rosie" Werner
Helenrose “Rosie” Werner, age 84, of Northern Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Forest Hills Healthcare Center in Hamilton County.
Born on July 14, 1941, in Batesville, IN to the late Quirin and Rita Rudolf, Rosie was a woman of deep faith and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated many years as the business manager of the Marydale Retreat Center and was a devoted parishioner of Mary Queen of Heaven Church, where she served faithfully as a money counter. Her generosity extended beyond the church walls through her involvement with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and as a volunteer baker for Mary Rose Mission.
Rosie loved going out to breakfast after daily mass and thoroughly enjoyed coloring and spending quality time with her family. Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rosie is survived by her loving husband, Ken Werner; children: Barbra (Don) Weller, Norbert (Laurie) Werner, Sharon (Dan) Bedillion, Judy (David) Turner, David “Tiger” (Andrea) Werner and Roger (Min) Werner; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings: George (the late Rosemary) Rudolf, Jerry (the late Dora) Rudolf, Martha (Leonard) Werner, Ken (Ruth) Rudolf, Joan (Mike) Haessig, Louis (Sue) Rudolf, Mary Beth (Ronald) Freyer and Paul Rudolf; as well as numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
To go with Rosie’s wishes, her body was donated to University of Cincinnati’s Body Donation Program, contributing to medical research and education.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 AM, at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mary Queen of Heaven Adopt a Student Program. Call 1-800-447-3986-option 2 and give Rosie’s name.
