Obituary For Herbert Leonard Shearer, II
Herbert Leonard Shearer II, 63 of Huntington, WV, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was the son of James and Regina (Conner) Shearer.
He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church, in his free time he enjoyed Fishing, woodworking, spending time with his family and gaming with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jimmy Shearer and Matt Shearer.
He is survived by his wife Emma Shearer, children; Herbert (Emily) Shearer III, Jack (Madison) Shearer and Christina Shearer. Brothers; Danny Shearer, Tony Young, Scott Young, Joey Shearer, Roman Shearer and Ricky Carr. Grandchildren; Herbert Leonard Shearer IV, Maislyn Jade Shearer, Eleanor Ruby Shearer and Oliver Cole Shearer.
A visitation will be held on Monday March 9, 2026, 10:00am -12:00 noon, with the service beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow with full military honors at Oakland Cemetery.
