Herman Brumley, age 85 of Nancy, KY, formerly of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. He grew up in Eastern Kentucky and later relocated to Cincinnati, OH where he met his late wife, Edith, of 66 years. He worked at H. Zussman & Sons/The Bergman Group for 40+ years. Upon retiring, relocated to the Lake Cumberland area where he enjoyed riding his UK Golf Cart, socializing with his neighbors, and later named the “Honorary Mayor of Clearwater”. He was an avid UK Wildcat Basketball and NASCAR fan. He was preceded in passing by his late Wife, Edith; Parents, Harlan and Roberta Brumley; Siblings, Herbert Brumley, Ruth Hignite, and Melvin Brumley, Jr.; Son, Donald “Donnie” Brumley. Herman is survived by Daughter, Beverly Rusk (Tom); Grandchildren, Candace Jones (Daniel), Sean Rusk (Ashley), and Krystal Alcorn (Tra); Great Grandchildren, Mason, Gavin, Cole, Blayke, and Saylor; Brother, Harold (Carol) Brumley, as well as many Nieces and Nephews, and Dear Friends. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 12 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 12 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042.
