Obituary For Holly Lorena Releford
Holly Lorena Releford, 44, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Born in Covington, KY, on December 10, 1981, Holly was the daughter of the late Michael and Marcella Releford.
Holly’s love for nature was one of the qualities that defined her most. She often spoke about the peace and solace she found in listening to the sounds of nature, particularly the chirping of birds. Holly cherished time spent camping, swimming in the creek, and simply being outdoors. She lived freely and unapologetically, especially when driving with the music turned up loud, singing along to her favorite songs without a care for what anyone thought. Holly was known for her honesty and straightforward nature — she always spoke her mind, no matter who she was talking to. Above all else, her devotion to her family was unwavering, and her love and loyalty remained steadfast even through life’s greatest challenges.
Holly is survived by her beloved partner of 27 years, Robert Faehr; her son, Matthew Faehr; her sister, Christina (Joseph) Mai; her nieces, who were her whole heart, Kiley Releford, Harper Mai, Josey Mai, Ariana Releford, and McKenzie Releford; her dearly loved nephews, Dreyman Releford, Randy Cole, and Mikey Releford; her step-siblings, Christopher Fry and Gregory Diebold and their children; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who loved her deeply.
In addition to her parents, Holly was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents; her sister, Missy Releford; and her brother, Michael Releford.
There will be no formal service. A celebration of Holly’s life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses. Donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
