Obituary For Irene Elizabeth Brosmore
Irene Elizabeth Brosmore, 96, of Dry Ridge, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Boonesprings Nursing Home in Union. She was born July 8, 1929, in Cleves, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Ed" Brosmore; a son, Tim Brosmore; a grandson, Edward Denton; brothers, Robert Beach and Eugene Armstrong; sisters, Laverne Gibson and Cleo Shelton; and son-in-law, Ben McSwiney.
Surviving are her children, Holly Denton (Bob), Linda McSwiney, Ted Brosmore (JoAnn Miller); numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held from 10-1 PM on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where funeral services will be held at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Brosmore family.
