Isaac Napier, Jr., 70, looked deep into the face of affliction with incredible strength and grace before passing away on July 14, 2026.

Throughout his journey, Jr. displayed tremendous courage and unwavering hope. Jr. was the owner of a king-sized heart, generous and compassionate to family, friends and strangers. He was affable, polite and funny.

Jr. proudly served in the United States Army. He made his living by being a machinist and enjoyed the peaceful retreat of fishing at Casterline’s or relaxing watching TV with some cheesy popcorn when he could. Jr. loved sports especially the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.

Jr. was a devoted brother to Brenda (Greg) Ashcraft, Rhonda “Jo” (Brian) Evans, and Tammy Hammons and a beloved uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Napier, Sr. and Helen Napier nee Dean.

Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor Jr. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY, 41051. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service at 12:00 PM, also to be held at the funeral home. Burial will then take place with full military honors at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Covington, KY, 41015.

Flowers can be sent to Chambers and Grubbs in Independence, KY. Memorial donations can be made in Jr.’s name to the American Cancer Society online or in person at services.
