Obituary For Jamanti N. Wilson

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Jamanti N. Wilson on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 28. Born on May 26, 1996, Jamanti was a devoted father, cherished son, loyal partner, and beloved brother whose presence brought light and laughter to everyone around him.

Jamanti worked in the restaurant industry as a dedicated cook, where his strong work ethic and love for food left a lasting impression on his colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, he was known for his deep love of family and his passion for sports. Whether cheering on his favorite team or spending quality time with his children, Jamanti lived with energy, heart, and purpose.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Nikole Wells(Mike) his father, Carlos Glover(Meaggan) , his grandmother Aisha Abdul Rahim(Khalil); his grandfather, Nick Fox; girlfriend, Maranda Vice. Jamanti’s greatest pride and joy were his five children: Kayana, Kamyrah, Jakobe, Jaylynn, and Jamir Wilson, whose lives will forever be guided by the love he poured into them.

He is also survived by his five brothers; Quel Brooks, CJ Glover, Lonnie Glover, Kyrie Glover, and Jaylin Wilson; five sisters, Jade Wilson, Jasmine Wells, Niyah Glover, McKenzie Glover, Tionna Glover; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss his warm spirit, infectious laugh, and kind heart. Jamanti was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, LaVerne Tarpley, his maternal aunt, Karimah Wilson,and His paternal grandfather Wardell Love.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to support the future of Jamanti’s children. Donations can be made to the Cinfed Credit Union, account number 1184615.

Though Jamanti’s time with us was far too short, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain in our hearts forever
