Obituary For James Edward Krajeck

James E. Krajceck, 83, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026. James was born September 22, 1942, in South River, New Jersey to Margaret and Charles Krajceck.

It was in South River where he spent his younger years and began a life with his wife, Sandra 'Sandy' Krajceck. In 1980, the couple moved to Florence, Kentucky, to follow a work opportunity for James, and they made a home there too and built a community of many friends and loved ones.

James loved Dodge trucks, he had six of them over the course of his life and had just as many Schnauzers. A hardworking and dependable provider, he dedicated many years of service as a Superintendent at Gates Rubber Company.

Outside of work, James was known for his warm spirit and larger-than-life personality. He loved gathering friends in the garage he and Sandy transformed into the perfect card-playing retreat, where countless evenings were spent enjoying music, laughter, and spirited games of Euchre, Pinochle, and Bridge.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Charles J. (Barbara) Krajceck and John P. (Camille) Krajceck. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Sandy; his beloved nieces in New Jersey; and the many dear friends who will continue to celebrate his life and memory at their monthly card club gatherings.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2026 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, followed by a service at 1:00 PM and inurnment at 2:00 PM.
