James Lee “Tom” Woodall, 83, of Florence, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024. He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky to his late parents Arthur Woodall and Alma Kemper Woodall. James is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Joyce Woodall and his siblings, Lucille Kirby, Eugene Woodall, Billy Woodall, Irene Woodall, Effie Fuston, and Virginia Bundy. He is survived by his children, Billy McMillian (Tabitha Covington), Barbara Talbott (William), and Tammy McMillian (Chris Dorsey); his grandchildren, Angel, Trenton, Lexi, Douglas, Alyssa, Ciara, Jessie and Sami; his great-grandchildren, Paislee, Kennedy, Elsie, Gracelynn, and Wyatt; his brothers Bob Woodall (Loreen), Carl Woodall, and Denver Woodall (Linda); his sister, Mary Hensley; as well as many nieces and nephews. James loved music, he played and sang country music. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. James was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 23, 2024, beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery.
