Obituary For James Raymond Haney
James Raymond Haney, 77, of Burlington, KY, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on Wednesday, August 24, 1949, he was the son of the late John and Mary Haney.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Lida Haney; brothers, Michael Haney, Terry Haney, Johnny Lukemeyer and Louis Lukemeyer; sister, Frances Ward; and great-grandson, Harley J. Godfrey.
James leaves behind his daughters, Georgia (Clarence) Boh and Christine (Michael) Grimshaw; sister, Carol (Jim) Parker; grandchildren, Jessica Emery (Craig Shearin), James Emery (Samantha Blankenship), Daniel Grimshaw, Lacey “Hunter” Grimshaw (Brady Waltz), Dakota Grimshaw and Katelyn Grimshaw; great-grandchildren, Shawn Godfrey, Emberleigh Godfrey, Haleigh Shearin, Remington Holston, Oakleigh Holston, Colton Holston, Kimber Holston, Sullivan Emery and Brooklyn Shearin; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
