Obituary For James Wilfred Tupman

James Wilfred Tupman, 90, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Jim was born in Covington, Kentucky, to his late parents, Wilfred and Gladys Tupman.

He is survived by his children, Susan Moore, Mark Tupman, Sam Tupman (Jenny), and Melinda Hankins. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters, Dana Turner and Brenda Hamilton (Glenn), and 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army and his community as a member of the Jaycees, a board member of Maplewood Children’s Home, and a board member of the YMCA. He was blessed with a “green thumb”; he loved taking care of his yard and landscaping. He loved his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. In his later years, he appreciated classic cars.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Mike Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, Kentucky.
