Obituaries

Janet Deleene Whittamore, of Burlington, passed away on January 13, 2026. She was the daughter of John Stricker and Joyce Stricker.

Janet retired from Keebler, where she worked as a packer. She loved spending time with her family and time at the casino playing the slots, enjoying bingo nights, and dancing whenever she had the chance.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Cracraft and Dwayne Cracraft; her sister, Pam Putthoff; and her grandson, Jacob Records.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Roger) Records; her sister, Carla Pease; Stepsister; Debbie Goodin and her grandchildren, Britni (Derek Barnett) Williamson and Baylie Records. As well as ex-husband, Danny Whittamore. Janet will be remembered for her love of fun, family, and the simple pleasures that made her happy.

Visitation will be on Friday January 16th, 2025, from 10am-12 noon. Services will begin at noon. Burial will be immediately following at Burlington Cemetery.
