Obituary For Jean A. McGlasson
Jean A. McGlasson, 91, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Colonial Gardens.
Jean was a loving wife and mother who was so caring, she was a foster mom for 32 babies. She was longtime farmer on her family’s fruit and vegetable farm. Jean had a beautiful voice and loved to sing; so much so, she sang in the choir at her church and would sing for the service men as they arrived home at the Union Terminal. She also enjoyed flea markets and going to yard sales.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ray McGlasson (2008).
Jean is survived by her children, Donna (Barry) Pickett and Danny (Elizabeth) McGlasson; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 11:00 AM at Hebron Lutheran, 3140 Limaburg Rd., Hebron, KY 41048.
Memorials are suggested to Colonial Gardens for their activities and recreation, 6910 Hopeful Rd., Florence, KY 41042.
