Obituary For Jeffrey William Adams

Jeffrey William Adams, 61, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on April 5, 2026, at The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Adams was born on April 29, 1964, to Patricia and James Adams. He was the second of four children, joining his siblings Jim Adams, Jason Adams, and Julie Carter. Jeff was raised in the greater Cincinnati area, attended Campbell County High School, and later graduated from Northern Kentucky University.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James Adams, and his beloved dogs, Tippy, Chevy, and Daisy.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Rhonda Sorensen; his mother, Patricia Adams; his children, Emily Madden (Matt Madden) and Aaron Adams (Katelyn Adams); and his cherished grandchildren, Hudson Madden, Charlotte Adams, Lily Madden, Landon Madden, and Lucy Adams.

In January 2020, Jeff and Rhonda moved to Bonita Springs, Florida, where they created countless lasting memories with family and friends. Jeff especially treasured teaching his five grandchildren to swim, watching sunsets over the ocean, boating with friends, and joyfully playing air guitar to his favorite local bands.

While living in southwest Florida, Jeff discovered a passion for gardening. He developed a particular love for plumeria trees, carefully crossbreeding them in pursuit of the perfect bloom. He also took great pride in nurturing his amaryllis bulbs, delighting in their vibrant return each season. His home and garden were a reflection of his gentle spirit—full of warmth, beauty, and life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Summit Church of Christ; 6015 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 from 5pm-7pm. Services will begin at 7pm. Jeff will be laid to rest at Pierce Township Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
