Obituary For Jeremy Hurm
Jeremy Hurm, 47, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and passion for sports.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Kelly Hurm, his daughter, Chloe Hurm, his parents, Bonnie and Claude Hurm, siblings, Joni (Pat) O’Brien, and Aaron (Jordan) Hurm, in-laws; Cathy (David) Sprankel and Ken(Debbie) Sheanshang, sister-in-law, Laura (Erick) Fitzwater and brother-in-law, Scott (Mallory) Sprankel.
For six years, Jeremy made a profound impact as the cross country and track coach at St. Paul. He also coached boys’ cross country and both boys’ and girls’ track at St. Henry High School, sharing his love for running and dedication to excellence with his students.
In his professional life, Jeremy was an analyst for AltaFiber, where he was known for his work ethic and collaborative spirit. He was also a proud member of the NKY Most Interesting Runners Club and served as an AAU cross country coach, further nurturing the next generation of runners.
An avid Bengals fan, Jeremy enjoyed grilling and spending time outdoors, often found cheering on his team with friends and family. He was a devoted husband and a great dad, always putting his family first and creating lasting memories.
Jeremy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many athletes he coached.
A memorial Mass for Jeremy will be held at St. Paul Church in Florence, Kentucky on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial will follow the Mass at Burlington Cemetery. A reception/celebration of life will take place at St. Henry High School to follow the burial.
