Obituary For Jerome A. Dierig
Jerome A. "Jerry" Dierig, 78, of Wilder, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the VA Medical Center, Cincinnati. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and a retired Pipefitter with Local 392 in Cincinnati. Jerry was known for his work ethic, sense of humor, and boisterous laugh. In his retirement years, he spent much of his time walking the beach in Siesta Key. He was a member of the St. Thomas Boosters, Highlands High School Boosters, Fort Thomas Swim Club Board, and volunteered at the VA Fort Thomas and Cincinnati. Jerry was committed to his faith and family above all else. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Elizabeth Dierig and siblings, Dick, Bob, Suzi, Jack, Shirley, Ann, Jim, Ron, Claire, Paul, Winona, Charlie, and Mary Lou. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy (nee. Murphy) Dierig; sons, Colonel Patrick (Lori) & Jay (Kristie) Dierig; daughter, Julie Dierig; 4 grandchildren, Henry, Heidi, Max & Joey Dierig, siblings, Pat, Don, Walt, Carol, and Tom, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1 p.m., Monday, December 22nd at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas. Jerry will be laid to rest in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
