JoAnn Helen Wilke, 89, of Newport, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

JoAnn was a member of Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue, KY, The Red Hat Society and the Bellevue Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She was a long time employee for the IRS as a Data Transcriber. She enjoyed being with her family and watching the Cincinnati Reds. JoAnn was also an avid bingo and card player, and loved playing the piano.

JoAnn was born April 5, 1936 in Covington, KY to the late Paul Kerl and Hilda (nee: Elsener) Kerl. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Raymond Wilke, Son, Charles Raymond Wilke, Sisters, Dorothy Goebel & Rose Laughlin-Goebel, Brothers, Bobby Kerl & William Kerl.

JoAnn is survived by her Children, Carole Ann Taylor, Michael Allen (Donna) Wilke, Ronald Eugene (Phyllis) Wilke, Rae Jean (Deron) Slusher, Grandchildren, Lindsay Wiggins, Katelyn Thomsen, Tim Taylor, Matt Taylor, Danielle Jones, Dakota Wilke, Jenn Allman, Logan Wilke, Reagan Wilke, Zach Slusher, Jenna Slusher, 14 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Raymond (Kathy) Kerl, Sisters, Patsy Leveridge, Betty Boese, Pauline Stambaugh & Special Friend, Art Ball.

Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Divine Mercy Parish, 318 Division Street, Bellevue, KY 41073. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am, with Rev. Martin Pitstick, officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
