Joe Ann Truitt, 92 of Villa Hills, KY passed away on August 8, 2023. She was a Charter member and President of the Covington Protestant Children’s Home (CPCH). She graduated from Beechwood High School in 1949. She was a member of Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church. She was involved in education and was a Dixie Booster Board member. Joe Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alma Wikel and a son, Todd W. Truitt. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, John Truitt; children, Michelle Truitt, John L. “Jay” Truitt, Jr., and Charles (Arlene) Truitt; grandchildren, Amber Truitt, Nate Truitt, Josh (Suzanne) Truitt, Bekah (Kyle) DeGryse, Jack Truitt and Katherine Truitt; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Elly, Jonny and Carson; nieces and nephews, Michael (Benita) Lind, Chris (Shane) Toomay, David (Vickie) Lind, Susan (Ron) Witcher, Jenny (Michael) Grove, Niki (Shean) Slusher & Ty Shah. A visitation will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be Friday, August 25, 2023, at 12:30 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of Flowers, donations are suggested to Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church.
