Obituary For Joel Johnson, Jr.
Joel Johnson Jr., 65 of Erlanger, passed away on March 26, 2026. He was the son of Joel Johson Sr, and Gail Johnson.
He was a member of the American Legion Newport and Elsmer Post 20.
He is preceded in death by his brother Bishop Johnson. Brother in law; Jeffery Beach.
He is survived by his mother and loving wife JoAnna Johnson. Children; Joel (Michelle) Johnson III, and Christa (Jessie) Hurst. Sister; Teresa Donaldson, Sister in Law; Leesa (Robert) French. Brother in law; David ( Marty) Glenn. As well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 from 4pm-7pm at Cooper Funeral Home; 10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 4001. Service will begin at 7pm.
Burial will be held on Friday, April 3rd, 2026 at 10am at Kentucky Veterans North Cemetery; 205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097.
We ask family and friends to also join us in a celebration of life for Joel which will be Friday from 6-9pm at VFW 4435 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere Ky.
