John A. Reeves, MD, 87, passed away September 8, 2024. John was born in Westernport, MD to the late Juanita and Raymond Reeves. John is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Maureen, daughters Diane Wojcik (Russell) of Wilmette, IL. Cynthia Reeves
(Mark Garner) of Pinebluff, NC, son John Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren Christopher Wojcik of Austin, Texas, Samantha Wojcik of Nashville, TN. John was preceded in death by brother Raymond Reeves. John was a graduate of the Univ. of Maryland, Univ. of Maryland Medical School, Univ.
of Maryland/Baltimore School of Ophthalmology. John had his Ophthalmology practice in Covington and Erlanger, KY from 1965-1999, while a resident of Lakeside Park, Ky. After retiring to Pinehurst, NC. John continued his love of golf, painting, and music. He played clarinet with the Moore County Concert Band and played saxophone and piano with the Sandhills Community College Jazz Band. John was a long-time member and past president of the Windjammers Unlimited, circus music historical society. He had served on the boards of the Public Education Foundation of Moore County and the Arts
