Obituary For John Fitzgerald Young
John Fitzgerald Young, 61, of Walton, KY, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2026. He was born on October 9, 1964, to Ester & Elvie (Elkins) Young.
John worked many years as a painter and helped his son remodel houses; he loved all kinds of music including playing his guitar and enjoying a smoke. He cherished spending as much time with his family and grandchildren as he could. He also leaves behind his sweet pug named Branch, who loved him unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kimberly Lynn Young, and a brother Jessie Young.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda Young and son Chance (Heather) Young, and brother Jeff Young. Grandchildren; Darian Fletcher, Paige Fletcher, Clifford Smith, Nolan Lanham, Hannah Lanham and Harper Young.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
