Obituary For John J. Carroll
John J. Carroll, born on April 3, 1927, passed away in his sleep on April 20, 2026.
He was a well-loved son to Partick and Margret, brother to Rosemary, James, and Ronald, husband to Viola, father to Theresa, Patricia, Maryann, and John, grandfather to Miranda, Frank, Margret, Melody, and John, great-grandfather to Vivian and Frank, and a kind uncle to many nieces and nephews.
John was a World War II veteran and a devoted Catholic. We will miss him dearly and are comforted by his faith and hope in Jesus.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 27, 2026, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 10272 US Highway 42, Union, KY 41091, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kentucky Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky. Stith Funeral Home is honored to serve the Carroll family.
Memorials in John’s name are suggested to St. Timothy Church at the above address.
