Obituary For John Thomas Rademacher
John “Jack” Thomas Rademacher 94, of Ft. Mitchell/Crestview Hills, KY, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026.
Born on April 10, 1932, in Covington, KY, Jack was the son of the late William and Hazel Rademacher. Jack graduated from Covington Catholic High School and went to serve his country in the U. S. Air Force.
Following his military service, he began his career at General Electric, during which he earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Cincinnati. He worked for GE for over 37 years, designing jet engines for both the commercial industry and the U.S. Air Force.
Jack was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found great joy in his family. He and his beloved wife, Grace, shared over 74 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, love and community. They were members for over sixty years at Blessed Sacrament Church and enjoyed their time at Summit Hills Country Club.
As an avid golfer, Jack spent many happy hours on the course. He was also known for his ability to fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand to neighbors and friends.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife, Grace, his sons: John (Jan) Rademacher, Steve (Kathy) Rademacher and Bob (Cindy) Rademacher; his daughters Diane Payne and Debbie (Larry Tungate) Klare: and his brother Jim Rademacher and his sister Elizabeth Rains; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law LTC Joe Payne, his brothers Bob and Bill Rademacher and his sister Ruth Purvis.
His visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 9 am until the Memorial Mass at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, Ky. 41017. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Ft. Wright.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Jack’s name to Covington Catholic High School or Wounded Warriors.
