Obituary For Johnnie Hubbard
Johnnie Hubbard, 86, of Morning View, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hubbard; his parents, Matt and Vina Hubbard; sisters, Alice Smith, Irene Tanner and Doris “Betty” Gersper; and brothers, Jack, Charlie, Sam, Wesley, Jim and Ed Hubbard.
Johnnie is survived by his six daughters, Terri Willis, Vicki (Russell) Brumley, Kathy Villa, Karen Pinales, Diane (Eulogio) Lopez and Amy (Jamie) Walker; brother, Lawrence Hubbard; and a remarkable legacy of 65 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery.
