Obituary For Jonathon Jay Dodson
Jonathon Jay Dodson, of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully in Cincinnati on October 25, 2026, after a prolonged illness. He was born on January 29, 1970, in Cincinnati, and will be remembered with love by those who knew him.
Jonathon found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and loved to eat, delights that brought him happiness and gave him many moments to share with family and friends. He will be remembered for the enthusiasm he brought to the things he enjoyed and for the place he held in the hearts of those closest to him.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dodson; and by his grandchildren, Andrew, Amber, Wyatt, and Gracie. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Cheryl Pugh of Elsmere, Kentucky; his brothers, Clay Dodson of Milford, Ohio, Brian Jasper of Goshen, Ohio, Timothy Pugh of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Anthony Pugh of Wilmington, Ohio; and his sisters, Lori Darr of Crossville, Tennessee, Misty Jasper of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Amy Lynch of Blanchester, Ohio. May the love of family and the memories they shared bring comfort in the days ahead.
Jonathon was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Jasper.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 10080 Demia Way, Florence, Kentucky 41042.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
