Obituary For Joseph David Knipper
Joseph David "The Infamous Joe Knipper", 81, of Walton, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Florence. He was born May 30, 1944, in Covington, son of the late George and Virginia Kampschmidt Knipper.
He was a retired Driver with UPS for over 32 years and a proud Vietnam era Army Veteran.
He was married to Patrica Oldaker Knipper, who survives, and also surviving are his children, Larry Stone (Jen); Jim Stone (Nikki); John Stone (Pia); Melodie Shrontz (Timothy); one brother, Phillip Knipper; sisters Ann Farrel; Angelina McCarthy; Claire Riley; Beth Smith (Chuck); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Knipper.
Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, March 6, 2026, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held from 11-1 PM. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites.
