Obituary For Joshua Craig Baker
Joshua Craig Baker, 51, died Friday, September 25, after a long battle with cancer.
Josh grew up in Kentucky and lived there until he and his family moved to Boston six years ago. He spent his career in graphic design, working with several local Cincinnati businesses, where his creativity and sharp wit served him well.
Josh was known for his humor, sarcasm, and quick wit. He loved the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Celtics, riding motorcycles, and good bourbon. Above all, he loved his family. He treasured going to the movies with his daughter, Riley, and spending time at car shows with his son, Abbott.
He is survived by his wife, Tara Baker; son, Abbott, 6; daughter, Riley, 24; mother, Brenda Schmidt (Glenn); father, William Baker (Pam); and sister, Jamie Baker (Matt).
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 11 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mansion Hill Sanctuary, 417 E. 6th Street, Newport, KY 41071. From 3 to 4 p.m., friends and family are invited to share memories of Josh if they wish.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reds Community Fund.
