Obituaries

Joyce Ann Levo, 78 of Florence, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 17, 2025. Joyce was born on May 21, 1947, to her parents Joseph M. and Viola Mary (nee Lauer) Geiger. She was a retired teacher from Boone County Schools where she loved teaching and shaping the minds of her 2nd graders. She was member of St. Barbara OCIA for many years, the Boone County Education Association and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Order of Foresters 1492. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard Levo in 2012 and sister in laws Kathy Geiger, Becky Geiger and Helen Geiger.
Joyce is survived by her siblings; Victor Geiger, Stan (Anita) Geiger, Joe Geiger, Gary (Donna) Geiger, Jack (Jeanette)Geiger, Sister Pamela Geiger S.N.D, Gail (Norman) Brossart, Pat (Joni) Geiger and Sheri Hartman and a host of nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, she loved them all so much.
A visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, Ky on Friday November 21. 2025 from 4:00pm – 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Church on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 10am. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Sts. Peter and Paul Women Who Care, or St. Barbara’s Altar Society or Bereavement Committee.
