Obituary For Julia "Judy" Dickerson

Julia “Judy” Dickerson, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 82

Judy was born on February 9, 1944, in Clermont County, Ohio, to the late George and Mary Apgar (nee Pickering). She was a hardworking woman with a big personality and a great sense of humor. Judy was a riot, always joking around, never met a stranger, and was always on the go.

She loved to travel, go to ball games, knit, crochet, and spend time with her family. Judy loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild deeply, and she was proudly known as “Mammaw.” She also had a caring heart and enjoyed taking care of others.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Dickerson; sons, Scott (Lisa) Dickerson and Richard (Jen) Dickerson; grandchildren, Paige (Nick) Ford, Hannah Dickerson, Blake (Taylor) Dickerson, Kelsey Dickerson, and Drew Dickerson; great-grandchild, Theodore Ford; and siblings, Leonard (Jean) Apgar, Joe (Shirley) Apgar, Bill (Linda) Apgar, Jerry (Gail) Apgar, and David (Bonnie) Apgar.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Apgar; sisters, Marty Dunham and Mary Pratt; brothers, John Apgar and Tom Apgar; and her beloved dog, Lucky.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 AM. Judy will be entombed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Memorial donations can be made in Judy’s honor to St. Elizabeth Cancer Center (Donate).
