Obituary For Julianne Marie Hackman
Julianne (Julie) Marie Hackman passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the age of 67 years old after a long and brave battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Julie was preceded in death by her father, the late Edward Robbe her sister, the late Lori (Charlie) Harnist, and many dear friends.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph G. Hackman; children, Maggie (Kyle Hooper) Hackman and Joe Hackman; mother, Shirleerae Robbe; siblings, Barb (Jim) Coffaro, Terri (Don) Stunkel, Edward (Sue) Robbe, Tim (Beth) Robbe and Michael (Kate) Robbe.
As the middle of seven children, Julie’s childhood was full of love, laughter, and countless priceless memories. She made the very best of friends throughout her childhood and high school who remained in her life until her passing. After graduation, Julie pursued a successful career filled with a variety of administrative roles across the travel industry, healthcare, and real estate until her retirement in 2020.
Julie met the love of her life, her husband Joe, on an adult softball league in 1983 and they married in 1985. Julie and Joe lived in both Columbus and Indianapolis before setting in Northern Kentucky to start their family. Julie spent her life traveling, laughing, crafting, baking, and spending time with her dear family and friends. Julie was generous to her core, always thinking of others and sharing her time, talent, and care with them. She will be dearly missed every day.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12th from 11:00 am until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pk. Ft. Wright, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to, the Glioblastoma Research Organization 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor #41, New York, NY 10013 (gbmresearch.org) or, the U.C. Gardner Neuroscience Institute 3113 Bellevue Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45219.
