Julie Elaine Murdock, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, passed away suddenly on August 29, 2024, at her residence in Cookeville, TN. Born on October 15, 1987, in Cincinnati, OH, Julie’s warm smile and loving nature were a gift to all who knew her. She was 36 years old.
Julie, affectionately known by all as a devoted wife and mother, is survived by her loving husband, Mike Murdock, whom she married on October 18, 2008. They were blessed with three wonderful children: Alexis, Aubree, and Declan Murdock, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion. She also leaves behind her caring parents, Jeffrey and Cynthia Bradley, as well as her siblings, Chris Dees (wife, Keri), Brenden Bradley (wife, Erin), and sister, Al Bradley. Each family member was touched by Julie’s unwavering support and boundless affection.
Julie dedicated her life to her family, embracing the role of homemaker with grace and dedication. She placed her family at the forefront of everything she did, nurturing her children with a gentle hand and supporting her husband with steadfast loyalty. Her home was a haven of warmth and comfort, filled with the laughter and joy that naturally emanated from her being.
Her commitment to her community was evident through her active involvement with the Central City Church in Cookeville, where she formed lasting friendships. Julie’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.
Known for her hugs that could soothe any sorrow, Julie’s presence was a source of solace and strength. Her interests were simple yet profound, as she found joy in the happiness and well-being of her loved ones. She approached life with a kind heart, always putting others before herself and spreading love wherever she went.
Julie’s impact on the world was immeasurable, and her memory will be cherished through the countless lives she touched. Described by those who knew her best as kind, loving, and selfless, Julie’s spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
A celebration of Julie’s life will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, September 5, at Central City Church. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 3-6 pm at the church.
An additional service will be held at Nicholson Christian Church in Independence, KY starting on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:30 pm. Visitation at the church will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Julie Elaine Murdock’s departure from this world leaves a void that can never be filled, but her love and the lessons she imparted will forever be a guiding light for those she leaves behind. Her story does not end here, for her spirit lives on in every kind act and loving embrace shared in her honor.
