Obituary For June Ann Balser

June Ann Balser, lovingly known as “JuneAnn,” passed into eternal peace surrounded by the love that defined her entire life. Born on September 14, 1959, to June and Robert Rothfuss, who preceded her in death.

She is now also reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Charles “Rick” Balser.

June was small in stature at just 4’11”, but anyone who knew her would tell you her heart was immeasurably larger than life. Family was everything to June. Not just a priority, her everything.

She is survived by her sisters, Bert and Debbie (Gary), who were not only her siblings but her very best friends. The bond they shared was lifelong and unbreakable.

Holidays spent with her sisters and their children were among her greatest joys, filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of closeness that only sisters truly understand.

She is also survived by her brothers Tom (Teresa), Rick (Tina), and Dan (Teri). June was preceded in death by her brother Tim (Brenda) Rothfuss.

She was the devoted mother of her son, Jason, whom she loved more than anything in this world. There was never a moment she wasn’t immensely proud of him. Some of her happiest days were spent sitting beside him watching the waves roll in at the beach. Peaceful, content, exactly where she wanted to be.

June was the most adoring Mimi. Jaxon held a very special place in her heart as her first and only grandchild for many years. She adored her buddy Jase, loved Sage’s sass, and cherished every moment with them. She delighted in hearing her grandchildren stomp across the floor above her. To most it might be noise, but to June it was the sound of life, love, and everything that mattered.

She also leaves behind her grand pup, Charley Michelle, who received plenty of Mimi love and treats.

June was also the very best mother-in-law to Casey, steady, loving, and endlessly supportive.

June worked faithfully as an accountant for many years, bringing her sharp mind and steady dedication to her career. In retirement, she focused her energy where her heart always was, spoiling her grandchildren, showing up, and loving big.

She leaves behind a large and loving family of nieces and nephews, each of whom she treasured deeply: Christie, Chris, Jenny, and Ashley, who now rests in heaven. Timmy, Jeff, Gary Amy. Jessica, Robbie, Dane who also rests in heaven, Kyle, Andi, Dawn, Ricky, Cody, Clint, Cassidy, Chance and seventeen great nieces and nephews. Kim (Larry) served as June’s most loyal and lifelong best friend.

June had a kind heart, a generous soul, and a love for her family that knew no limits. She found joy in simple things, ocean waves, holiday gatherings, tiny footsteps overhead and in the people she loved most.

Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 19, 2026 with a visitation from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
