Obituary For Junior Stewart

Junior Stewart passed away on October 18, 2026 leaving behind a loving family and a community that will deeply miss his presence. Junior had a big heart, a larger-than-life personality, and a genuine love for people. Above all else, he loved his children, who were the center of his world.

Junior proudly served the Burlington Fire Department for 18 years, dedicating himself to helping others and serving his community. Outside of the fire department, he enjoyed spending time on the water boating, taking his Jeep out, and cheering on his beloved Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He never missed watching a game. Junior also enjoyed a cold beer, a trip to B-Dubs, and a Snappy’s Pizza. He was an excellent cook and grill master, he loved hosting parties and bringing people together.

Junior leaves behind his son, Login (Taylor) Stewart; his two daughters, Joey and Macy Stewart, whom he lovingly called his “queens;” his mother, Margie Stewart; his brothers, Robby (Lea Ann) Stewart and Kenny (Ashley) Stewart. He will also be remembered by his nieces, Carlee, Kaylee, and Kelsey, and his nephew, Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Big Junior; his grandmother, Mary Stewart; and his brother, Joey Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Highland Cemetery.

In honor of Junior’s dedication to the fire service, memorial donations may be made to the Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
