Obituary For Karen Leah Cotcamp

Karen Leah Cotcamp, 76, of Silver Grove, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026.

She was a Supervisor with the Disabled American Veterans at their National Headquarters in Cold Spring, KY. Karen is the longest standing volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospitals with 42 years of service. She was a member of Silver Grove Christian Church and an avid bird watcher.

Karen was born October 3, 1949 in Dayton, KY to William Gaines Yerkes and Lucille (nee: Sellers) Yerkes. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Hannah.

Karen is survived by her niece, Lynette (Michael) Gerner, nephews, Jason (Carol) Hannah & Timmy (Kelly) Hannah, great nieces & nephews, Devon (Andy) Boiman, Olivia (Ben Freeman) Heck, Anton Gerner, Lilith Gerner, Mikayla (Cory) Barth, Jack (Jordan) Hannah, Megan (Jacob) Grigsby, great great nieces & nephews, Matilda, Ozzy, Atreus, Emersyn, Maddox, Brooks & Declan and brother-in-law, Jack Hannah.

Visitation 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, KY. Funeral Ceremony will follow noon with Rev. Rob Brown, officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

Memorials are suggested to the Silver Grove Christian Church, 122 W. 2nd Street, Silver Grove, KY 41085.
